The basic units are available for block length from 2 m up to 5 m and consist of six working stations:
1. Feeding conveyor
2. Horizontal cutting unit
3. Side trimming unit

5. Vertical cutting unit
6. Unloading unit

A basic unit ensures a very economically production mainly manually operated..
Blocks supplied from the block-storage are generally in a up-end position. To load each block has to be tilted and centred onto the horizontal feeding conveyor by hand.
In each individual cutting station thepositioning of the air-cooled cutting wirers is done manually.
To change-over the top thickness of the boards the accordant cutting frames at the horizontal cutting unit have to be changed by hand. But a quick change system facilitate the change-over.
The horizontal cutting unit is not oscillating but fixed.
The disposal of the all cutting-scrap (slaps) is manually as well.
